TeaBot Terms of Service

1. What TeaBot is

TeaBot is a Discord bot operated exclusively for the official Subway Surfers Discord server, together with this website. It cannot be added to other servers. These terms apply to everyone who interacts with TeaBot in the server or uses this website. If you do not agree with them, do not use the bot or the website.

Use of TeaBot must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2. What TeaBot does

• Moderation and safety: moderation commands, enhanced AutoMod, automatic detection of spam and compromised accounts, message logging for moderation evidence, detection of members running several accounts, and ban appeals.
• Community features: XP, levels and ranks, daily activity streaks, a collector card game, events and giveaways, birthday celebrations, daily greetings, colour roles and rank-card frames, and other fun commands.
• The website: your own member profile, and staff-only dashboards for configuration and moderation.

Features can be added, changed or removed at any time.

3. Rules of use

You may not:

• Abuse, spam or automate interactions with the bot (self-bots, macros, scripted clicking).
• Farm or exploit XP, streaks, events, giveaways or the card game through spam, alternate accounts or bugs.
• Probe for or exploit vulnerabilities in the bot or the website, or access tools and pages you are not authorised to use.
• Collect, scrape, export or redistribute other members' data.
• As a staff member, use moderation or configuration features in an abusive, arbitrary or discriminatory way, or outside what the server's administration has authorised.

If you find a security issue, report it privately to the contact below instead of exploiting it.

4. Moderation, automation and appeals

Moderation decisions can be taken by staff or automatically in clear-cut cases, for example spam waves from compromised accounts. All moderation actions are logged. If you believe a ban was wrong, you can appeal at teabot.fr/appeals, signing in with the banned account. Appeals are read and voted on by the moderation team over one week; if more moderators vote to unban than to keep the ban, the ban is lifted automatically when voting closes. A tie, or nobody voting, leaves the ban in place. You can see where your appeal has got to on that same page — while you are banned it is the only way we can tell you, since we cannot message an account that is not in the server.

5. Virtual items

XP, levels, streaks, cards, keys, frames, colours and any other virtual item exist for fun inside the server only. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for anything outside the bot, and may be adjusted, rebalanced or reset at any time.

6. Staff

Access to staff commands, dashboards and logs is restricted and logged. Staff members are responsible for the actions they take through the bot and must use these tools in line with the server's rules and these terms.

7. Your content

Content you submit to the bot (greetings, statuses, appeal text and similar) remains yours. By submitting it you allow TeaBot to store, screen and display it as needed to run the feature. Submitted content passes automated safety checks and can be refused or removed.

TeaBot's code, artwork and other assets belong to their respective creators. Subway Surfers and its assets are the property of SYBO. TeaBot is a community project and is not operated or endorsed by SYBO.

8. Availability and liability

TeaBot and the website are provided "as is", free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime and no guarantee that any data or virtual item persists. Interruptions can happen for maintenance, updates or technical reasons. To the extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for damage resulting from use or unavailability of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Data and privacy

How TeaBot handles data is described in the TeaBot Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

10. Enforcement

Breaking these terms can lead to losing access to some or all bot features, to sanctions in the server, and in serious cases to a report to Discord.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Significant changes are announced in the server. Continued use of the bot or the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
